Common Issues

• I get forbidden errors when connecting to voice

  • Please ensure your password is entered in the correct casing. Passwords on the voice server are case-sensitive, yet the main network connection is not.

• My volume suddenly goes very loud or very quiet

  • Ensure that the following setting is not set in your Audio Properties within Windows: 1) Right-click your speaker within Windows next to the clock 2) Select Sounds 3) Navigate to Communications 4) Select Do Nothing

• Unhandled Exception Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {F447B69E-1884-4A7E-8055-346F74D6EDB3}

  • This happens when using Windows 10 N or KN editions (for example on Parallels) because they do not contain the media foundation APIs. Download and install https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3145500/media-feature-pack-list-for-windows-n-editions to resolve the issue.

• I cannot click some buttons in the settings menu as they disappear off the window

  • Ensure you are running Windows in 100% scaling.
